Parramatta DPOP budget deadline
Public submissions on the City of Parramatta’s draft 2025-2029 Delivery Program and 2026/27 Operational Plan and Budget closed at 5pm on Thursday 14 May 2026. The $570m+ package includes funding for an upgrade to the Epping Community Centre (the historic School of Arts at 9 Oxford Street), continued capital works for parks and community hubs, and Council’s response to the Epping Town Centre Master Plan endorsed in October 2025. The deadline closing in the same week as the ICAC inquiry creates a sharp accountability story.
Submissions closed 5pm Thursday 14 May 2026; package endorsed for public exhibition on Monday 13 April 2026; Council to invest more than $570 million in the next 12 months; explicit Epping line items include Epping Community Centre (School of Arts) upgrade and the Heritage Review program continuation. Drop-in sessions earlier in the exhibition included Rawson Street Carpark, Epping (Saturday 18 April 2026, 10am-12pm) and PHIVE foyer in Parramatta Square (21 April).
